Coastair is now a member of the world's largest and most prestigious network for aircharter professionals: The Baltic Air Charter Association, which represents the interests of commercial aviation companies in the aircharter industry. Membership of this organization gives Coastair a unique quality label. We can now offer our clients even more comfort and security. Even if something might go wrong, we can rely on BACA for immediate administrative assistance.

As a leading air cargo broker membership of this organization was an absolute must. The whole industry is represented in this organization: airbrokers like Coastair, but also charter airlines, airports, handling agents and FBOs, business aircraft operators, consultants and many others.

The Baltic Air Charter Association, BACA, is the successor to the Airbrokers' Association founded by members of the Baltic Mercantile and Shipping Exchange in March 1949. Its purpose was to bring to aircraft chartering the same standards of integrity and professionalism for which the Baltic Exchange and the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers have for so long been known and respected. The Baltic Exchange gives BACA very generous support with administrative and social resources to BACA members:

• Providing member operators with access to all the major European charter brokers.
• A Council who can represent Coastair at governmental or official level if required, and to promote the interests of members.
• Assistance with disputes or other business issues if required, and a conciliation service.
• Legal consultation and advice service.
• Representation at various industry events, at which Coastair can participate.
• Support for a BACA-chosen charity.
