Strategic partnerships
Since the founding of Coastair we have always worked closely together with various airlines all over the world, operating dedicated freighters on charter and on scheduled basis. Besides our on-line stations we also operate many other airfields within Africa and the rest of the world on an ad-hoc basis, offering both Russian and Western-made aircraft. Together with our experienced loadmasters we carefully select the right aircraft for your cargo operation.
Liege Airport
Airport slots are rights allocated to an entity by an airport or government agency granting the right to schedule a landing or departure during a specific time period. The rights are allocated in accordance with guidelines set down by IATA’s Scheduling Services Group. Slot restrictions serve as a basis to divide airports into three categories, namely Level 1 (Non-Coordinated Airport), Level 2 (Schedules Facilitated Airport) and Level 3 (Coordinated Airport). This means that Liege Airport is a Level 1 Airport.
Ethiopian Airlines
Ethiopian Airlines is Ethiopia’s national airline. Over the past sixty years this organization has developed into one of the leading carriers in Africa. Currently, Ethiopian Airlines has over 40 cargo destinations spread across Africa, Europe, Asia and the Middle East via its hubs at Addis Ababa and Liege. This strong growth was driven by the company’s commitment to guarantee safe and reliable cargo transport at any given time. This also fits in perfectly with the values upheld by Coastair. In the meantime, Coastair and Ethiopian Airlines have developed a strategic partnership. At the hub the cargo is re-loaded on to freighters or on to passenger aircraft to be flown to final destination. So this partnership is certainly an indispensable asset! We offer you an unrivalled service that is always better than what is being offered by the competition.
